Ten Nine Technologies

Ten-Nine Technologies was founded in 2014 by Paige Johnson in her hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  The company’s mission is to develop and deliver the world’s longest lasting and most sustainable battery materials.  Materials are viewed by many in the industry as the greatest risk to (and greatest opportunity in) the electrification revolution.  Ten-Nine has developed breakthrough materials that can up to double battery lifetimes and make a profound impact on the climate.  TENIX™ is a proprietary, patent-protected nanomaterial that when blended with traditional cathode materials can significantly boost the performance of both single-use and rechargeable batteries.  TENIX™ is a drop-in additive that requires no changes to battery manufacturing lines.  It also contains no cobalt or nickel and its production can be fully powered by wind energy for a net zero carbon footprint.  HFI has one seat on the company’s board of directors.
