With an aging population and service migration away from acute care centers, these sub-markets are expected to stay strong. Investment sizes of properties are typically $5mm-$15mm, with an emphasis on opportunities providing current yield and value-add opportunities. To determine long-term viability, high importance is placed on understanding local demographic patterns and the strength/growth strategies of local healthcare providers. Management has built a strong national network of real estate intermediaries, healthcare providers, healthcare valuation groups, private investors, and finance partners in sourcing off-market opportunities.
